Letters to Juliet

Letters to Juliet starts in the beautiful busy city of New York. Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) is walking through the busy city making phone calls to confirm facts because she is a fact finder for a local magazine. Sophie is engaged to be married. She and her fiancé are leaving the following morning on a trip to Verona Italy for a pre-wedding honey moon. Sophie's fiancé is opening a restaurant  in New York city soon so this honey moon is also sort of a business trip. When they arrive in Verona Sophie finds this neat place where woman go to write to Juliet about their love lives and they stick their letters in this wall. So Sophie gets invited by a group of ladies to respond to these letters. In the meantime her fiancé is traveling the country in search of products for his business. Sophie finds a letter written to Juliet from over 40 years ago and writes a letter thinking it might never reach the writer. Little does she know that it does reach the writer and that they will be paying Sophie a visit. Sophie then meets this writer named Claire (Vanessa Redgrave) and her grandson Charlie (Christopher Egan) and they all decide to go on a hunt for Claire's Lorenzo or "Romeo". Sophie is on the adventure of a lifetime where she then finds herself falling in love with Charlie (Christopher Egan) but she is still engaged so she has to make a decision. The ending of the movie is in Verona Italy at the Wedding of Claire and Lorenzo where Sophie tells Charlie that she loves him and they live happily ever after. This was definitely a girl movie but my husband really liked it also. So I would not consider it a total chick flick but a good date night movie because it just makes you think about what made you fall in love!

Jesus Culture: Your Love Never Fails

This song starts with instrumental and then a declaration of truths about God and how we are so imperfect but his mercy is new every morning and he loves us anyway. It then goes into the chorus to express how God is the same through out all the ages and his love never changes.God makes all things work together for our good no matter how bad it may seem he loves me and nothing I can do will make him not love me. I think this song give a great depiction of who and what God is.

  1. Ahhh…. I absolutely love this song, everything about it is amazing. I love the long intro, it gives you the time to come into communion with him.The words of this song is so beautiful he truly makes all things work together. God has so much mercy on us that even thought we reject him, he is still their by our sides giving us that love that so much of us long for. Even though we have to face daily struggles, we need to understand that it is only temporary. In the mist of our pain, God will glorify himself in our lives. I have nothing to fear because my LORD AND SAVIOR WILL BE THEIR TO RESCUE ME!!

His love if sufficient, “8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever”. Hebrews 13:8
